Internet Safety
Those games were terrible. The only one that was somewhat engaging was text message safety one. I only say this because I had to focus on not hitting the other objects and making it to the finish line with my brain. The forest animal one and the one where we had to find the criminal were boring. The questions were all common sense and not fun. Those two shouldn't even be called games, they are more like quizes. The testimonials were the worst. I would have to say these games were effective as to informing children on internet safety but they were least bit of fun.

Filthy Dirty Muck
I am very liberal in my views and opinions. I think the regulation that the FCC are trying to make impose on our first amendment rights. I believe we have advanced so much in our technology that the individual person or family can regulate the material they view as obscene. People should be able to view and listen to what ever they want. I think the companies and corporations in charge of the media outlets should regulate what they put on their network not the government. The government tries to have so much control over the citizens that they will take away one of our rights so they can have say so on what people engage in. The regulation are so old and our society has advanced well enough to regulate their own intake of obscene material. The FCC needs to back off and let us be free to do what we please like our country claims we are.

Green Screen
I am baffled to learn that Grey's Anatomy is filmed in front o f a green screen. I know some of the episodes have outrageous story lines but to know that one of the most controversial scenes when Meredith Grey jumped into the water and nearly drowned when a ship wrecked is just hard to hear. I like not knowing how movies and television shows are produced because once I know, I try to catch every little thing that is not real. But I do think the green screen is cool. Having the power to be anywhere or make anything is pretty awesome. The images you create on a computer can be transported and viewed all from this green background. When a movie is recorded in front of a green screen they put it in an editing software called chroma key. Chroma key removes single color and any background can be inserted. Kind of makes me want to go into producing movies. I can do pretty much anything I put my mind to in front of green screen.
The Great Train Robbery
I would have to give this movie 3 out of 5 stars. For a movie that was made in the early 1900's, it was pretty good. Granted, there wasn't any talking and the acting was over exaggerated. The music in the background was the only good thing about the film. When the setting or situation changed so did the music. The silence overwhelmed me though. I became bored and uninterested after a while because there wasn't any talking to capture my attention. I suppose I am use to acting being with words and gestures not just gestures. I would never watch this movie again unless I am forced to.

Block Buster vs. Red Box vs. Netflix
When VHS and DVD's were emerging in the market, Block Buster was the place to go. With the invention of Red Box and the technological streaming of Netflix, Block Buster is slowly failing. Our society has become dependent on technology and immediate convenience that people do not take the time to walk through Block Buster anymore. Who needs to walk through Block Buster anymore when I can easily stream a movie from Netflix? I can admit that I am adiment user of Netflix and when new movies come out that are not streaming on Netflix, I go to the nearest Red Box in my area. Fast and convient. That is what our society has progressed into. Just like we like our food fast, we like everything else in our world to be the same way.
I currently do not have cable so Netflix is all the television I need and more. Other sources of television and movie streaming like Hulu are also big in my life. I like streaming movies and television because for 1 it is way cheaper to subscribe to Netflix and Hulu monthly than paying for a cable bill every month. Reason number 2, I can watch when ever and what ever on multiple devices and on the go. I am almost never at home, so having Netflix and Hulu is convient. My final reason is because I do not have to worry about returning movies or losing them. I have Netflix and Hulu streaming on my phone, smart tv and on my iPad so I do not have to worry about one disc. In our generation having Netflx or some sort of internet movie/ television streaming source is a must. It is the way of our world now and just as we moved from VHS to DVD's, I believe streaming will be next for everyone.
